Bentley: 9 months!

9 months in 9 months out! I can't believe how quickly time flies! I love my little munchkin and he surprises me everyday with the new things he is learning.

• Bentley has 5 teeth now with one more trying to pop it's way through. 2 on bottom and 3 on top.
• He jabbers a lot and occasionally says mama and dada. Usually he says mama when he wants something from me :)
• He learned how to wave and when he wants me to pick him up he waves both of his hands at me it is so cute how can I resist!
• He loves to play peek-a-boo. It is his favorite game! He will take his blanket and cover his face inititate playing it with us.
• He would be totally content if I just walked around with him all day long. But unfortunately my back can't take very much of being bent over like that. I am sure I will regret saying this once it actually happens, but I really look forward to the day when he can walk by himself so that I don't have to walk with him all day and can actually get some stuff done.
• He still just army crawls everywhere but he climbs up onto anything and everything.
• He loves to eat, especially food that I am eating. If we sit down for dinner and I put him in his high chair with some cheerios he throws a fit until he sees me give him something that I am eating and then he is content. Silly boy.
• He definitely knows what he wants. When he wants to walk around he will grab onto two of my fingers and won't let go until I walk him around the house. 
• He loves cats. My parents have cats and every time he sees them he lets out a very excited yell he also does this same yell anytime he sees Michael or Steven (my little brothers) it is so cute!
• His 9 month stats are: weight: 16 lbs 2 oz (less than 3%) height: 27 in (10%) head: 43.9 cm (13%)

He WOULD NOT smile for his 9 month pictures! Little stinker. He was not happy I was making him sit still to take pictures. So this is as good as it gets.

Bentley: 8 months

Each month seems to fly by so quickly now! I can't believe how much Bentley is learning and growing. More about Bentley this last month:

• He learned how to crawl and is always on the move now. I have to keep everything off the floor because he will get into it.
• He pulls himself up to things and at church his favorite thing to do is to walk along the back of the bench. I will try to keep my hand there so he doesn't fall over and he will push my hand away because I guess he thinks he is big enough to do it himself. :)
• He got sick for the first time. Poor kid was running a 103 fever for a couple days. I felt so bad for the poor boy. I did enjoy the cuddles though since he won't do that at any other time.
• He loves to feed himself! He is seriously addicted to those baby puff things, or cheerios.
• He is just barely starting to wear a couple 6-9 month clothes. He is still just a little thing I am working on trying to fatten him up haha but I think he moves so much that he just burns all the calories he eats. 
• He says mama all the time and I love it!
• He got in his two bottom front teeth!
• He has discovered how to click his tongue and he does it all the time. 
• He is still always such a happy baby I couldn't be more blessed!

Bentley: 7 months

I am about 2 weeks late posting this maybe sometime I will be quicker at posting :)

I can't believe how quickly Bentley is growing up he blows my mind everyday with the new things that he knows. I really can't picture my life without him now he brings so much joy into my life and I love him so much!

• The day before he turned 7 months his two front teeth cut through.
• He loves to eat food! Every night he eats some oatmeal cereal and he always devours it without any problems. He also loves carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, prunes, and bananas with blueberries. he also loves those little sweet potato start cereal. And he just recently started loving cheerios. It is so fun to watch him get excited about feeding himself :) He hates the baby food green beans, peas, peaches, and apples. I don't blame him they don't smell very good anyway. But if I make them fresh in my food meal he will eat them just fine.
• He says "mamma" all the time and I love it! I know that he doesn't know yet exactly what it means but it makes me so happy to hear him say it!
• He still hasn't figured out the crawling thing quite yet. He will still inchworm everywhere and roll wherever he needs to get. And ever since he was little he does this thing on his tummy where he flails around his arms and legs like he is swimming. I think he thinks that he is going places but really it is just kind of funny to watch him look like he is high centered swimming haha.
• He loves going over to grandma and grandpa's house and it makes it a lot easier to leave him there when I know he is so excited to be there.
• He sits up great now without support. He really likes me to be in the room though when he is sitting up so it makes it really hard to get anything done but I just have to keep reminding myself that this phase won't last long and I need to cherish all the time I have with this sweet boy.
• He is still the happiest baby I have ever seen. We get compliments daily about how happy he is and everyone always wants to know if he is just having a really good day but really he is just like that everyday and I love it!
• If I set him up on his knees next to something he will pull himself up to it.

Bentley: 5 and 6 months

These last two months have kind of melted together for me and I got a little behind and totally forgot to post his 5 month post so I will do them together on this post.

• Each month Bentley gets more and more fun and I am head over heels in love with this boy.
• He rolls everywhere and he can do it very fast.
• He loves to smile and giggle. Everyone always says to me " He must be having a good day because he is smiling so much." Well really he is like that everyday and we couldn't be more blessed to have such a happy baby.
• He has started on fruits and veggies and absolutely loves them! So far carrots are his all time favorite!
• He has started babbling with consonants now instead of just vowels and it is so fun to hear him trying to talk. 
• He will sit for a little while by himself but he still hasn't quite figured that one out yet.
• He still scoots and rolls everywhere to get around. he will occasionally get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth but that is as close to crawling as he has gotten so far.
• Up until 5 months he was an awesome sleeper and then he started waking up multiple times during the night. I am sure it is just a phase but it still isn't over yet. it could be due to the fact that his first tooth just cut through a couple days ago.
• He has started to reach for you when he wants you to pick him up which is so adorable.
• At his 6 month appointment he weighed 13lbs 9oz (less than the 3rd%) his head was 41.7 (7%) and his length was 25.5 (19%).
• Josh and I are so in love with him and we really can't picture our lives without him now we are so blessed to have him in our lives.
